Riverine Woods
The Riverine Woods is the only private resort nestled deep inside the forests of Corbett. Located on the edge of the picturesque Ramganga River, it is surrounded by hills that abound with some of the world’s most exotic flora and fauna.
The lodge is meant for anglers, wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers, nature lovers, botanists and zoologists.
Accommodation
The accommodations of Riverine Woods have been designed in such a way as to provide maximum comfort to the guests whilst still maintaining a perfect harmony with nature. The large mud huts of Riverine Woods has thatched roof with savannah grass over a lining of bamboo ceiling. This helps to reduce the conduction of heat.
Each cottage styled mud hut of Riverine has a spacious bedroom with an attached bath and toilet. These rooms have large bay windows allowing plenty of light and air inside the rooms.
Cuisines
The Dining Hall at Riverine Woods is located at a vantage point and is a marvel of traditional masonry. Stonework fascinatingly bounded with mud has been erected on hardwood logs to make it a room with a view! A thatched roof helps in regulating the temperatures. You get fantastic views of the surrounding landscape while you enjoy a wholesome and delicious meal.
Guests can ask for customized dishes as per their liking and tastes in Riverine Woods. The restaurant serves European as well as Indian cuisines.
